About FirstBank

FirstBank was founded in 1906 as Farmers State Bank of Scotts Hill. In 1986, Farmers Bank of Scotts Hill merged with First National Bank of Lexington to become FirstBank. Since its founding FirstBank has rapidly grown into one of Tennessee’s leading community banks. Since its inception, FirstBank has set community service and involvement as one of its primary goals. They want their customers to have the best of both worlds – the hands-on customer service of small town banking with the depth of products and expertise offered by larger banks.

In 2005, FirstBank established Community Bank Products in an effort to assist community banks in the development and marketing of stored value cards. This included offering the Visa brand branch issue gift cards in FirstBank branches. The focus of Community Bank Products is to select products that can be developed and resold to community banks as a means of helping their business and relationships in the community grow.

FirstBank believes this program can increase business and drive customers to all community banks that join the program.
